Kitsune is a sofa with clean lines and a casually smart appearance. On slim steel legs, the upholstered forms appear to float effortlessly on their own plane. Mentsen, its designer, wanted to convey the idea of contrasting volumes and the shapes created by folding a cushion. Piped edges to the upholstery accentuate the sofa’s outline, giving graphic contrast to the soft forms. The back and armrests are connected delicately with contrasting hand stitches. It comes in a two or three-seater version, and either matching or contrasting bolsters are available.
